Why A Vacation Set Up By The Belize Connection Is Great

By Margaret Thompson

No vacation is ever complete without swimming and other nature and cultural related activities. Places like the tropics and central America is perfect for these kinds of activities for many reasons. These countries are full of architectural and natural wonders that you cannot find anywhere else.

Tourism is a big industry that flourishes in places like Belize. One agency that makes sure to help is the Belize connection with their constant updates on events and perfect places to visit. As tourists, contacting them would help make the trip go smoother and therefore more fun.

One of the most popular things to do here is diving. With its barrier reefs as the second longest in the world and three coral atolls. Something that just draws adventure and nature enthusiasts there. Rich historical and archaeological value in this place is one notable factor here. This is where the most famous Mayan Ruins and architecture can be found.

The Lamanai among the 14 other historical sites is one of the most visited places in Belize. Remnants of Mayan civilization just fills the place with rich history. They even still have the carvings, the pottery and other artifacts that show as proof of their amazing life even before the pre Columbian era.

Diving in barrier reefs are one of those activities that anyone can get hooked on. The beauty that the world under water has is just breath taking. There are many fishes that you can find in these dives. From tuna to sharks and turtles. The whitespotted toadfish is a species that can only be found in Belize. There are many trained divers to accommodate and guide tourists through the reef.

Another heart pounding activity is diving the blue hole. The spot is a large circular canyon that looks dark blue showing off how that area is exceptionally deep from the other areas surrounding it. The 450 dive is enough to make you lose your sanity for awhile, which makes this perfect for adrenaline junkies. As you swim on the way to 200 feet you will be accompanied by bull sharks.

Many of the historical spots here do wonders for educational trips. All these sites are managed by the institute of Archeology. Places like the Lamanai is one very popular place that used to be a major city during the pre Columbian era. There are three major temples which includes the Jaguar temple, the Mask temple and the High temple. All temples are worth the visit.

The Belize zoo is great for everyone even the disabled. This gets you up close to the different animals that live in such tropical conditions. Most of the mammals are owned by contributors and are being conditioned to go back into the wild. The most famous animal that tourists love to visit is the jaguar. The 543 species of colorful birds are also quite the view with the many selection of reptiles.

All these sights and adventures is what makes Belize such an amazing, breathtaking place to visit. It is no wonder why their government chooses to bank on the tourism industry so much as a means to get out of the state of poverty that plagues that country. This helps locals to create and manage businesses that supports the industry that mainly accommodates the tourists and visitors. Commercial real estate also has the potential to be big in such a location.
